KNIFE CARE & WARRANTY

Thank you for selecting Riven Knifeworks! Please use your knife as intended for cutting tasks and not as a chisel, screwdriver, pry-bar or hammer. 

Any defects in workmanship during normal use will be repaired or replaced at our discretion. Damage due to misuse or modification is not covered by warranty. 

Blades should be stored dry, clean and lightly oiled to prevent possible corrosion.

Sheath Care

Most sheaths will be made out of kydex. Use a detergent like dish soap and warm water to clean the sheath. Do not use chemical cleaners like acetone or turpentine. Use an air can or compressed air hose to blow out any dirt, water or grit on the inside of the sheath. Dirt will scratch the blade finish if left inside the sheath, so make sure it is clean and free of debris before re-sheathing. 

Handmade Finishes

Riven Knifeworks blades are handmade (except where specified) and may have minor imperfections or slight blemishes, etc. We endeavor to make each knife look and function as perfectly as possible with the best fit and finish that is appropriate to each knife. Minor surface imperfections will not affect the performance of the knife.

Riven Knifeworks will not be responsible for careless handling, unsafe use and assumes no responsibility for incidental or consequential damages, with respect to economic loss or injury to property. You must be 18 years old to purchase. By purchasing and using our knives you are accepting all responsibilities and will not hold the maker / owner, affiliates or Riven Knifeworks responsible for any illegal activities or lawsuits.
